Capture the four diaphragm signals and AmbiCreator turns them into B-format: W captures the omnidirectional component, X front and back, Y left and right, and Z up and down. Together, they describe a complete three-dimensional sound field – ready to rotate, decode, and render in your immersive workflow.

Rotate the complete recording horizontally by ±180° and change perspective without moving a microphone. Use Z Gain to control the vertical dimension of the sound field and adapt its height information to your workflow. Automate the rotation and even let the spatial perspective move throughout the performance. Then output your finished B-format as AmbiX or FuMa.
And here’s the beauty: the same two-OC818 setup also works with StereoCreator. One recording can become the foundation for flexible stereo and a complete first-order Ambisonics sound field.
